Automotive-grade, high-reliability sensing and control chip solutions

Cross reference

Enter a competitor part number to find the RJMICRO equivalent, together with its product grade and replacement type.

You can also enter an RJMICRO part number (for example RJM2311) to see which competitor devices it replaces.

1

Enter a competitor part number

Enter the full part number or the base part number of another vendor (for example ACS70311). The brand and the part number can be separated by a space.

2

See the RJMICRO equivalent

The result lists the corresponding RJMICRO device, its product grade, and the replacement type against each competitor part number.

3

Judge the redesign effort by replacement type

A drop-in replacement normally needs no board change; pin-compatible, functionally identical and functionally similar each imply a different amount of hardware and software work — see the guidance below.

Understanding the replacement types

The same RJMICRO device may replace different competitor devices to different degrees, and each result is labelled individually. Use the criteria below to judge the redesign effort:

Drop-in replacement BOM to BOM BOM to BOM

Identical to or better than the compared device in function, pinout, parameters, external circuitry and driver software. No hardware or software change is required — the device can be replaced directly.

Pin-to-pin compatible Minor redesign Minor redesign

Same function and pinout as the compared device, but parameters, external circuitry or driver software differ. Some changes in hardware or software design are required before replacement.

Functionally compatible Redesign needed Redesign needed

Same function as the compared device, but with a different pinout and different parameters.

Functionally similar Similar concept Similar concept

Similar to the compared device in function, pinout and parameters.

This cross-reference information has been compiled by RJMICRO from public sources and internal testing. It is for selection reference only and does not constitute any form of warranty or commitment. Competitor part numbers, parameters and package information may change with their vendors’ revisions, and the content on this page may be out of date or incomplete.

Do not use this page alone as the basis for a design decision or volume replacement. Before switching, always refer to the latest datasheets from both parties, and complete the necessary sample validation, system testing and reliability evaluation under real application conditions. Applications involving functional safety or regulatory certification must be re-evaluated against the relevant standards.
