Building Automation
Contactless position sensing and motor commutation for access control, HVAC valves, smart lighting and shading — with long life and low standby power.
Building Automation
Building devices share one trait: once installed they are hard to remove. Locks, air dampers and curtain motors cycle tens of thousands of times over a service life beyond ten years, and wear on mechanical contacts and potentiometers is the main failure mode — which is why contactless Hall solutions are preferred.
RJMICRO uses Hall latches for limit and end-position detection in access control, barriers and valves, 3D position Hall sensors for valve opening and curtain travel angle feedback, and low-quiescent-current LDOs to support battery-powered wireless panels and sensor nodes.
