xEV Powertrains
Current sensing and position feedback for xEV systems — traction inverters, battery management and on-board charging, covering the full path from the high-voltage bus to the motor.
xEV Powertrains
Electrification is RJMICRO fastest-growing application area. Nearly every part of the battery–motor–inverter chain needs accurate current and position information, and Hall current sensors — contactless, galvanically isolated, with low insertion loss — are now the mainstream choice for traction and high-voltage current sensing.
On the traction inverter side, linear Hall current sensors handle three-phase current sensing for FOC control; on the battery side they support BMS high-voltage bus current integration (SOC / SOH estimation) and over-current protection; on the charging side, OBC and DC/DC input and output current monitoring relies on the same isolated principle.
For position sensing, 3D position Hall and TMR sensors provide contactless angle feedback for rotor position, gear selection and e-axle actuators — replacing conventional potentiometers and improving service life and reliability.
