RJR710xx-Q1 / -QD · 150 mA, 40 V Ultra-low Quiescent Current Automotive LDO

3 V–40 V wide input with fixed 3.3 V / 5 V output, 5.5 µA typical quiescent current and 800 nA shutdown current — ideal for always-on systems connected directly to the battery.

The RJR710xx family comprises 150 mA automotive-grade LDOs for always-on systems connected directly to the battery. The 3 V–40 V wide input range tolerates transients up to 42 V, with fixed 3.3 V (RJR71033) or 5 V (RJR71050) output.

Typical light-load quiescent current is only 5.5 µA and shutdown current is as low as 800 nA; combined with a 300 mV typical dropout at 150 mA, this noticeably reduces the power consumption of always-on systems. The device operates stably with low-ESR (1 mΩ–5 Ω) ceramic output capacitors from 1 µF to 200 µF.
