RJM4988C · Programmable TPO Camshaft Position Sensor
Chopper-stabilized Hall with True Power-On (TPO) capability, supporting 5 kHz camshaft magnetic field detection. A single-chip integrated capacitor reduces BOM cost and PCB area.
RJM4988C targets engine camshaft position sensing. A chopped Hall scheme measures the speed and phase of a target or pole wheel, with True Power-On (TPO) capability and AUTO TPO support for in-vehicle calibration.
An EEPROM stores algorithm options, the device ID and calibration parameters, and the built-in temperature-compensation data for the relative permeability of magnet material (−40 °C ~ 150 °C) accommodates different magnet materials and temperature conditions.
