Robotics & Intelligent Control
Joint drive, angle feedback and speed sensing for humanoid robots, cobots and AGVs — from 12V joint motor control to 3D position sensing.
Robotics & Intelligent Control
Robotics demands far higher position accuracy than general industrial equipment: one degree of joint error propagates through the kinematic chain to the end effector. Humanoids raise the bar again — twenty to thirty joints per machine, each packing a motor, reducer, driver board and position feedback into a very small envelope with tight thermal limits.
Joint drive.RJMICRO automotive-grade motor control SoCs are already used in 12V motor drive, integrating pre-driver and protection logic to drive small BLDC / PMSM motors directly — well suited to finger, wrist and neck joints. A high-current driver for next-generation 48V joint modules is in development.
Position and speed feedback.3D position Hall and TMR angle sensors provide contactless angle sensing at joints and harmonic reducer outputs; Hall latches handle limit, home and hub-motor commutation; linear Hall current sensors monitor joint phase current for torque control and collision detection. A magnetic encoder solution for high-precision servo needs is on the roadmap.
